Port Forwarding Port Forwarding forwards packets sent to the NBG800 from the external network to specified ports on the internal computers.
Port Forwarding routes all packets intended for one port on the gateway from the external network to a specified port on one of the internal machines.
Enter the port number you wish to open in the Port Number field. Well known ports include: 7(Echo), 21(FTP), 23(TELNET), 25(SMTP), 53(DNS), 79(Finger), 80/8080(HTTP), 110(POP3), 113(Authentication Service), 119(NTTP), 161(SNMP), 162(SNMP Trap), 1723(PPTP).
If you want to disable port forwarding, enter 0 (zero) in both the IP Address field and the Port Number field.
