Driver Installation
under
Windows 2000

Things to note before installing the CableFREE II software:

  1. You will need the CableFREE II Installation CD and your original Microsoft Windows 2000 CD.
  2. Most CD drives need time to spin up before they can read the data on the disk. Check the CD activity LED. Do not proceed to the next screen until the activity LED stops blinking.
  3. Do NOT click the Cancel button during installation (when the system is copying files the computer may appear to be idle for a short time).
  4. If you are using the CableFREE II Wireless Hub, make sure you keep it powered on throughout the installation process.
