Note: This FAQ is applicable to the adapter model numbers ND5300 and ND5320. The
ND5320 card comes with theSOHOware Network Starter Kit (ND772T/A). |

- From the DOS prompt run ndconf3.exe . Not from Win95, shutdown and restart in MSDOS
mode.
- Select view configuration. It should be:
- PnP mode
- No boot rom
- Write down the IRQ & I/O values
- Escape from program, type exit to boot to Win95
- From desktop go to control panel, then system, then device manager. Look in network
adapters, find ND5300 or NE2000 compatible and hi-lite, then click on properties. Select
resources and compare IRQ and I/O assigned to step #2
- If they match, you are done, proceed to network setup. If not you will have to match
them. Uncheck the box "use automatic settings", Then click on resource that you
want to change, then click on change setting. Then change to setting from step #2.
- After getting them matched, reboot system, when loading Win95 appears hit F8 and select
command line. Run ndconf3.exe again and check the assigned resources. Repeat these steps
until they match, then continue with Net setup.
