Job Description:
Sohoware, an integrated wireless systems pioneer, is looking for an energetic and creative individual to lead their Marketing Communications programs. The candidate will assume responsibility for product positioning, marketing collateral, new product introductions, lead generation, and new customer acquisition. In addition, the candidate will support senior staff with competitive intelligence and analysis to help drive product and market strategies.
This is a hands-on position where you own the design and creation of outbound documents, and act as chief writer/editor of content for these documents and the web site. A key function for the Product Marketing Specialist is the support of Sales through an effective lead generation program based on conducting targeted outbound campaigns. As a team player, you will interface with and support various departments including technical, sales, and support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Articulate product and corporate positioning throughout collateral and Web site content
- Create and maintain document templates, graphic elements, and photo/image archive
- Design marketing collateral including the layout and editing of content for data sheets, brochures, marketing papers, and web pages
- Generate active leads for Sales through the production of outbound e-newsletters, and prepare for distribution to targeted opt-in mailing lists from CRM database
- Drive product launches through the implementation of Marketing support materials and coordinated press announcements
- Define and execute search engine optimization strategy that leverages Web page and press release key word enhancements
- Maintain CRM database and oversee data entry activities
Requirement
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably with marketing or writing emphasis
Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years Marketing experience, preferably in Networking..
- Very strong written and verbal communications skills are essential, with demonstrated writing capabilities
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (PageMaker) applications
- Experience with ACT or similar CRM database
- Familiarity with HTML based newsletters and Web based marketing initiatives a plus.

Field Applications Engineer (FAE)-

Job Description:
Sohoware Inc, a wireless networking pioneer, has an opening for a System Application Engineer position. Candidate is expected to be a technical expert on SOHOware’s small and medium business networking products. Interacts with customers in both a pre-sales and post-sales relationship, including assisting Sales in customer’s first deployment, and providing technical training, troubleshooting and support of deployed products.
The main function in this position is to assist value added resellers (VARs) and ISPs, in the design, implementation, and maintenance of their networking solution projects for their small, medium or large enterprise customers, both remotely and on site when necessary.
Provide timely resolution of technical issues reported by our Customers, Channel Partners via telephone and or e-mail. Perform pre-sales and post-sale application engineering function to help customer win projects. Replicate and characterize product issues within a lab environment then work directly with Development and Sustaining Engineering to resolve them. Candidates should have a strong understanding of IP routing and associated protocols within an Internet Service Provider or small, medium and large enterprise environment.
Perform tasks assigned in support of SOHOware internal network, server administration and maintenance of internal computer installation, configuration and troubleshooting and backups. Participate in special projects such as holding product specific training of customers, product demonstrations, writing application notes, reviewing technical documents. Participating in new product launch process including evaluating, testing and system integration as necessary to enable SOHOware to offer a complete solution for its customers.
Requirement
Education: College degree, CS/EE emphasis preferred
Experience: 3-5 years strong analytical, troubleshooting, and Customer Service experience required. Candidates should be familiar with the following; IP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIPV2, IP Multicast, MPLS, DSL, T1, VPN, Firewalls, PPTP, PPPoE, VoIP, WIFI and Gigabit/Fast Ethernet. Some travel may be required. Working knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, and networking technologies. A Strong skill in troubleshooting PC’s and network components.
